Why Smilin’ James?

“Team Player” Attitude
- Many companies can meet your technical needs.  You are hiring the person.  I named my business “Smilin’ James Sound” because so many clients commented on my smile and positive attitude. I love what I do, and it shows not only in the quality of my work but in the experience of having me on your team.

Amazing Rates - I have carefully chosen my equipment to make transportation and setup of even my largest PA inexpensive and efficient. With a spare day for setup even the flown EAW system can be easily assembled by one person, and I pass that savings on to you.
*
Ample Experience and References -You may be considering hiring me for the first time, but you should rest assured you’re hiring a company with an ever-growing list of success stories and satisfied clients. I’m happy to provide contact information on any of the references you see on my testimonial page if you’d like to have a chat with a former client.

Dependable Transportation & Backup Equipment -
I travel with backup cabinets, amps, consoles, crossovers, everything. Every sound provider should, but if you’re assuming yours does, I’d ask. And I also set myself apart from a lot of the “budget” competition by rolling in a late model Ford Econoline E350 one-ton, powered by a Powerstroke Diesel and rated to tow 10,000 pounds.

Superior Sounding Equipment - You aren’t sacrificing anything with the money you’re saving hiring me. Every step in the signal chain, from my mic cabinet to the Midas console to the EAW tops and subs, are all top shelf touring gear. I won’t claim that it’s the best equipment money can buy, but unless money is no object I am confident what you (and the performers on stage) will hear out of my system blows the doors off my competition.
